Nydia Retirement Solutions Renews CEFEX Certification and Expands Scope to Include Cybersecurity Verification

Nydia Retirement Solutions announced the successful renewal of its certification from the Centre for Fiduciary Excellence (CEFEX), reaffirming the firm’s adherence to rigorous fiduciary and operational standards for retirement plan service providers.
The CEFEX certification is awarded following an independent assessment of a firm’s practices against the Standard for Operational Fiduciary Services in Pooled Plans. The evaluation includes a detailed review of policies, procedures, governance structures, and operational processes.
As part of the 2026 certification, Nydia’s scope of certification also includes verification that the firm maintains cybersecurity measures designed to align with the Department of Labor’s Cybersecurity Program Best Practices.
CEFEX assessments are conducted through a structured review process that includes examination of written documentation, interviews with personnel, and evaluation of operational procedures. Firms that successfully complete the process are granted a Certificate of Registration valid for a twelve-month period.
